Yelp Guaranteed provides coverage up to a lifetime max of $2,500 if you hire a Yelp Guaranteed business through Request a Quote, Request a Consultation, or Request a Virtual Consultation. Coverage includes unsatisfactory project work, property damage related to the project, pre-paid projects when the hired professional does not show up, and fees charged outside the scope of your written quote.
What’s behind a Yelp review? Most of the time, it’s a great experience. A customer is dazzled by spectacular service, a prompt project quote, or a seamless seating with Yelp Guest Manager—then they go to Yelp to tell their community all about it. And the best part of this process is that the customer is leaving a review because they want to.
When consumers are looking for a business like yours, they go online to find what they want and where they want it, when they want it. They’re looking to choose the best business for their needs, and with a complete Yelp Business Page, they’re more likely to find you during their research process.
You just visited the newest tapas restaurant in town and had an incredible experience (and the best sangria ever). You’re likely to post a picture on your Instagram or tell some friends about your new discovery—but what if you could announce to the whole town that this new spot has opened? Or maybe you just launched the newest plumbing service in your area. Your tools are set, your work van is branded, and you’re looking for a way to spread the word.
Think about the last time you bought something online, booked a trip, or looked up a recipe—you probably looked at reviews during that process. Reviews are a part of our everyday life, and consumers trust reviews. As a business owner, it’s about how you can start receiving those reviews.
Page Upgrades are enhancements to your Yelp Business Page that help you grab people’s attention and show them you’re the right business for the job. They help take someone from simply finding your business to actually choosing your business as the place they spend their money.
Once you’ve added or claimed your Yelp Business Page, you’ll want to choose the best categories that describe your business. There are more than 1,500 different categories to choose from, and the list is always growing.
If you see a review that you believe violates Yelp’s Content Guidelines, please report it and include any information that can help us verify the information. Yelp is a community-driven site, and removing photos, reviews, or other user content is not something we take lightly—we generally allow users to stand behind what they write. It's also important to keep in mind that Yelp doesn't take sides in factual disputes.
If you aren't able to find your review, there are a few possible explanations:
- Your review may not currently be recommended
- Your review may still be saved as a draft
- You may still need to confirm your email address
Reviews are only removed if they are found to be in violation of our Content Guidelines or Terms of Service, or if your account has been closed all together. In most cases, if Yelp removes your review, you will be notified via email by our Support team.
Updates from Yelp for Business (either biz.yelp.com or the Yelp for Business app) will appear on your page immediately, but they’re submitted to our moderators for review against our guidelines. As such, the changes could be subsequently rejected.
We want Yelp business pages to be simple, accurate, and generally reflective of the way consumers recognize a business. If you think we got it wrong, please submit the change again with an explanation in the Notes field (the notes field is currently available on www.yelp.com and the consumer app, but not in biz.yelp.com or the Yelp for Business app).
